Rijeka Gateway
In November 2021, APM Terminals (51%) and Enna Logic (49%) signed a concession agreement to design, construct and operate a state-of-the-art container terminal, Rijeka Gateway, on Croatia's North Adriatic coast. The Rijeka Gateway will developed in two phases, with phase one due for completion in 2025. Once completed, the terminal will have a 680m long berth and be able to serve vessels up to 24,000 TEUs. Rijeka Gateway leads way with 5G Stand Alone connectivity first
Rijeka Gateway, a joint venture between APM Terminals and ENNA GroupO, is lifting the standards of digital connectivity in the maritime industry by adopting next-level private 5G campus network. 5G targets twenty times higher data rates and much shorter latency than LTE Networks which have been rolled out at other terminals over past years.
